Live Event Illustration
Weddings
How it works:
Before the Event:
We’ll have a chat via Zoom or phone to discuss details, such as venue logistics, the absolute VIPS who must be drawn live on the day (I can create 18-20 drawings in a 3-hour setting). Where and when would you like the illustrations to take place- throughout the ceremony, reception, speeches and disco? Or simply, just the guests.
We’ll talk about the No Surprises Pricing Package variations, listed below, so that we can agree the cost and deposit.
I like to dress up and accessorise, so we can discuss the dress code too!
I’ll bring everything I need with me- all I request is a table and chair, preferably close to a plug socket in case I need extra light. I’ll research the venue’s location and logistics and my journey there, so you don’t need to worry about that. I’ll even bring my own snacks!
During the Event:
I’ll aim to arrive at least 30 minutes before the event and set up my working area.
I’ll take photos of the couple and the main guests (the absolute VIPS!), as well as some extra photos of the venue and other details to set the vibe. I’ll start working on the illustrations from the photographs. As I finish them, I will put them on a display rack in cello bags. Guests will be free to observe the illustrations and take them whenever convenient. I am always happy for guests to watch me at work!
If there is not time to draw everyone who would like to be illustrated, then I am happy to create illustrations in my studio after the event and post these on, as per the No Surprises Pricing Package.
After the Event :
A week or so later I will give you a courtesy call to check that everyone loves their illustrations! Also to see if there are any extras that might be added.

What’s the Cost? No Surprises!
Standard Package: 3 Hour session at £250 per hour (£175 per hour thereafter).
This includes all my art materials and plain drawing papers; local travel (within London Contactless Area); client liaison (initial phone call or zoom call); admin time (my research); up to 20 ten-minute illustrations on A5 paper- each paper could have one or more guest illustrated, the price is the same the only change is that more people in an illustration leads to fewer details. Don’t worry though, I am very quick and can create a lot of work in 10 minutes!
If time over runs then the cost is £175 for the extra time on the day, up to one hour.
Any A5 illustrations created after the event, requested surplus to the agreed 20 illustrations, and created in my studio, will be charged at £42 each + postage.
Bronze Package: 5 Hour session £1000 total (£175 per hour thereafter).
This includes all my art materials and plain drawing papers; local travel (within London Contactless Area); client liaison (initial phone call or zoom call); admin time (my research); up to 30 ten-minute illustrations on A5 paper- each paper could have one or more guest illustrated, the price is the same the only change is that more people in an illustration leads to fewer details. Don’t worry though, I am very quick and can create a lot of work in 10 minutes!
If time over runs then the cost is £175 for the extra time on the day, up to one hour.
Any A5 illustrations created after the event, requested surplus to the agreed 30 illustrations, and created in my studio, will be charged at £42 each + postage.
Silver Package: 7 Hour Session £1400 total (£175 per hour thereafter).
This includes a “studio day” after the event, during which I will work in my studio creating extra illustrations from the day: such as the bouquet, the venue, shoes, gifts, accessories and jewellery etc.
Also includes “Roving Reportage”-style illustrations which I will recreate from spontaneous, cute moments that occur during the day.
Also includes up to a further 10 guest illustrations (A5 size, drawn in 10 minutes) of guests who did not have time to be drawn on the day.
This also includes all my art materials and plain drawing papers; local travel (within London Contactless Area); client liaison (initial phone call or zoom call); admin time (my research); up to 30 ten-minute illustrations on A5 paper- each paper could have one or more guest illustrated, the price is the same the only change is that more people in an illustration leads to fewer details. Includes a framed A3 sized Illustrated Likeness of the couple, illustrated with watercolour and coloured pencil.
Includes Stationery designed to fit your theme.
Includes a “studio day” in which I will work in my studio creating extra illustrations from the day: such as the bouquet, the venue, shoes, gifts, accessories and jewellery etc.
Also includes “Roving Reportage”-style illustrations which I will recreate from spontaneous, cute moments that occur during the day.
Also includes up to a further 10 guest illustrations (A5 size, drawn in 10 minutes) of guests who did not have time to be drawn on the day.

Stationery designed to fit your theme.
A3 sized Illustrated Likeness of the couple, illustrated with watercolour and coloured pencil.

Roving Reportage-style illustrations from spontaneous, cute moments that occur during the day.
Add-ons:

A wedding celebration provides the perfect opportunity for live illustration as a complement to the wedding photographs.

Why not add Live Fashion Illustration to your business event? Everybody wants their event to be the most memorable, stand out event of the season. Of course you can use photographs to capture the event, but why not add a more personal touch?
