Ways to Work with Me

Quick sketches (10-20 minutes) or sustained studies (30minutes plus) for magazines, publishers, lookbooks, designers, fashion houses, brands, private clients, educators, collectors, galleries.

For quick sketches I use a fineliner pen and Promarkers for filling in colour. My favourite materials are Winsor and Newton Brush pen Promarkers, or those with a chisel tip. For finishing touches I use a Uniball Eye fine outliner, and a white gel pen.
For sustained work I use watercolours and coloured pencils for details.
I also use a combination of Photoshop and Procreate for digital work.

My quick sketches are perfect for showing off a garment from different angles. I don’t copy poses from photographs, I scrutinise the garment. I have a background in Fashion and Textile design and I am able to see how clothes might look from all angles.
Also, my experience of teaching Art, and of studying life drawing, means that I am skilled at drawing anatomy for convincing poses.
I can make your garments, or features, look super-cool with a dynamic pose! Great for impressing clients and making the pages of your publication look sumptuous.

My more detailed drawings are the perfect accompaniment to a storyline or editorial feature. I am skilled at putting words and pictures together (again my teaching experience comes in handy!) and my heightened imagination means that I can create an image from a unique perspective. Ideal if you need your words or descriptive pieces bringing to life.
My illustrations look beautiful as decorative features adorning the walls in high-end shops, as well as when published in luxury magazines. They also look great when accompanying online magazine features.
