I am in AWE.
Here are some of the kind things that people wrote about my work:
“Absolutely wonderful exhibition! I am in awe. Thank you for sharing your artwork and process.” - SP
“What a marvellous exhibition! Beautiful work and wonderful use of colour. The Ethiopian sketches are very atmospheric and visually striking. Congratulations!” - DW
“Wonderful to see so much of your work together and see the journey from your earlier Ethiopian work to the fashion sketches. You’ve really developed your use of colour. Well done for such an impressive body of work. It all looks great in this fabulous space too.”
“Fabulous art and I love the way you capture form, energy and character. Beautiful Zoe. Your passion for what you do shows in every picture.” - FS
What a Private View most certainly is not.
A large charcoal drawing on display at my exhibition, Drawing Threads, which represents the evolution of my work from my charcoal drawings of Ethiopian tribeswomen to my current fashion illustrations.
Drawing Threads links two worlds, this featured image shows two women from the Ethiopian Hamer Tribe. They are wearing traditional clothing made from goat hides embellished with beads. Their hair is worn in the form of traditional plaits cut in a short style with a fringe.
